Temporary/Limited Permit:

If an applicant has recently graduated from an accredited OT program and is awaiting to sit for the exam or results, or if they have not practiced OT for more than five years, they will need to apply for a limited permit. There is a $50 fee for OTs and a $25 fee for OTAs. ‍‍

Initial Licensing Fees:

OT Fee: $225
OTA Fee: $175

Timeline:

1-2 weeks

Renewal:

All licenses expire annually on July 31st. The renewal fee is $110 for OTs and $60 for OTAs if postmarked by June 15 prior to expiration.  If the fee is mailed beyond June 15, the fee is $210 for OTs and $160 or OTAs.
