RHODE ISLAND

Rhode Island enacted the necessary model PT Compact legislation; however, the state is still in the process of implementing the requirements of the compact before being ready to actively issue and accept compact privileges. This process typically takes between 8 and 12 months, in some cases longer. There is no known date when the state will by ready. Once a state is ready it will be announced at ptcompact.org.
