New Jersey OT License
Temporary/Limited Permit:
A temporary permit may be issued to any person who has applied to take the NBCOT examination and who has completed the education and experience requirements. They must also notify the NBCOT to forward Confirmation of Examination and Registration and Eligibility to Examine Letter directly to the Council, as well as have 2 completed Certificates of Good Moral Character.
Initial Licensing Fees:
OT Fee: $100
OTA Fee: $100
Timeline:
7-10 weeks from completed application to licensure
Renewal:
Licenses must be renewed by September 30th of every odd year. Fees range from $80-$160 for OTs and $50-$100 for OTAs depending on date of original licensure.
Notes: Fingerprint cards required; score report required if NBCOT exam was after 1/1/2003
