Temporary/Limited Permit:

A temporary license may be granted to a person who has completed the education and experience requirements and is eligible to take the NBCOT exam. An applicant who has failed the NBCOT once and has applied for re-examination may also be eligible.‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

Initial Licensing Fees:

OT Fee: $30
OTA Fee: $30

Timeline:

4-6 weeks

Renewal:

Licenses expire on June 30 on odd numbered years. The renewal fee is $55 for OTs and $45 for OTAs.

Notes: Effective 1/1/2013, OTs must have minimum of $1M professional liability insurance.
