North Dakota OT License

Temporary/Limited Permit:

A limited permit may be granted to a person who has completed the education and experience requirements, allowing them to practice under supervision of a ND licensed OT. A limited permit is valid for 4 months or until the results of the passing examination are received by the Board. The fee is $90 for an OT and $80 for an OTA.‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

Initial Licensing Fees:

$50 application fee for all applicants.  Licensure fees range from $75-$150 for OTs and from $55-$110 for OTAs, depending on when application is received.

Timeline:

Varies. Licenses are mailed out weekly once all documentation is received.

Renewal:

Licenses are renewable biennially in even-numbered years. The renewal fee is $150 for OTs and $110 for OTAs.
