Temporary/Limited Permit:

A temporary license is issued only to applicants who have not passed the NBCOT certification examination, but meet all other requirements and are scheduled to take the next examination. There is an additional $28 fee on top of regular application fee.‍‍‍

Initial Licensing Fees:

$209 for licensure by exam or $265 for licensure by reciprocity for OTs and OTAs.

Timeline:

3-4 weeks once a complete application has been received.

Renewal:

Licenses must be renewed every two years on the licensee’s birthdate.  The renewal fee is $100 for both OTs and OTAs.
