IOWA OT LICENSURE

Temporary/Limited Permit:

Limited permits are issued based upon a graduate meeting the eligibility requirements to sit the national exam, submission of proof of a scheduled exam date, proof of requesting a score transfer from NBCOT directly to the Iowa Board Office.‍

Initial Licensing Fees:

OT Fee: $120
OTA Fee: $120

Timeline:

Applications are reviewed by Board staff as soon as possible, in the order received,  typically within 5 business days.

Renewal:

Licenses must be renewed every two years. The fee is $60 for OTs and OTAs.
