Jacob Perry

Nursing Client Manager

Tell us about yourself.

Single dad of a 14-year-old beautiful, smart, sarcastic young lady. I’ll take any time I can to go be horrible at golf, lay by the pool, binge TV, and somehow, I’m always cleaning! If I’m on vacation I’m probably in Belize with a Belikan in my hand. I live in Omaha and am lucky enough to have my parents, my sister & brother-in-law, and nephew here as well.

What do you love about your position?

The best part of my job is knowing that I can help make a difference in someone’s life, whether that be the patient receiving care or their family members or the nurse I am helping pursue his/her career goals in the process of taking care of those patients and families. It is endlessly gratifying and rewarding knowing you have played a small part in that process.

What drives you at work?

Aside from what I just mentioned, the people internally around me push me to do better. We all lift each other up and support each other in the good and bad. I try to be the teammate I want to have every single day.

What makes Uniti Med a great destination for potential travelers?

I’ve been in the industry long enough to know that the number one thing that separates any company from another from a traveler aspect is relationships. Our recruiters put that first in every conversation, every day. It’s not just “hey what do you want and when” it’s “tell me why that’s important to you so I understand your needs and wants better.” And when you do that consistently, it gets noticed.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?

The Colosseum in Rome, Italy is #1 on my travel bucket list.
